Biography

I'm a 23 year-old composer currently living in England. I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Creative Music and Technology from Brunel University in Uxbridge, England.

I've been actively involved in music since the age of 6, initially learning the piano, but when I found out at the age of 10 that the instrument didn't really suit me, I switched to the drum kit. Since then, I have also learned (to varying degrees of competency) the bass guitar, alto saxophone and trumpet. I have also had several years of classical vocal training, although that was when my voice was unbroken. (Yeah, when they said my voice would break, I didn't think it meant literally! Just kidding, I still can sing, although nowhere near as well as I used to be able to.)

I eventually hope to emigrate to the USA and ideally get into the audio side of the film or computer game industry as a composer, but I want to keep my options open. I am therefore trying to learn as much as I possibly can about anything audio-related, including soundtrack editing and synchronisation, music composition, sound effect design, and orchestration. Absolutely anything goes in the quest for knowledge.
