"Tiger Eyes" is simply gorgeous. I love how the piece looks detailed and organised, with every stroke in its place, yet the overall effect makes it look raw and unrestrained. It feels to me like a kind of cross between pencil sketching and painting - I adore the look you've created here. The boldness of the acrylic paint really serves to accentuate the steely, focused look of the tiger, like it's staring a defiant challenge right through you. (I have a very soft spot for tigers too, so I guess I'm also quite biased!)

I take a great interest in surrealism, and I have always held firm to the belief that we can express things in the unnatural or supernatural, while making use of things that exist in the natural world to do so. I love your photography, Mitch, because it does exactly that. Dreams rarely stay within the rigid boundaries of reality, and the fact that your dreams are your guide mean that you already have the ability to "think outside the box" regarding your artistic expression, and that is always the first step to creative genius. All of your work is stunning.

Ever since I first laid eyes on a kaleidoscope, I was awed by the sheer number of variations in the patterns you could produce. The "Untitled" piece of art brought back all the awe I first felt when I first played with a kaleidoscope. I love the colours in this piece too, it makes you want to stare at it, almost like it's trying to suck you into a world that simply doesn't exist...
