"Samaritan"

This is a remake of a drawing I had done a while back now. I liked the theme, concept and idea of the drawing but never was satisfied with the compopsition and colors I had originally used. So last yr I decided to give it another shot and remake the drawing.(the beauty of digital) I changed the composition form letterbox to portrait. The background colors where originally blue, but I thought a mid-night hue was more to my liking. The original piece has an actual man on the floor as the parabel of the samaritan goes, but since the drawing did have the yield sign I decided to go with a "sign" theme as if the pedestrian crossing sign was the one who managed to escape its 2 dimensional world. The "samaritan" wants to find a way to help the sign back into its world but is ashamed he cant do n e thing about it due to his handicap and him having his arms tied behind his back.
