"El Gallito"

People have started asking me, 'Why a rooster?' My response would obviously be 'why not?' See not everything has to be premeditated, in art there are some rules that are meant to be followed others can be broken or written as you go. Remember art has been evolving since the moment our ancestors decided to forever preserve the images that where meaningful to them at the time on numerous caves, walls and structures all the way to today and that which we are experiencing this very moment. Don't ever let someone try to tell you otherwise. Especially negative or close-minded individuals who can't think outside the box. I titled it "El Gallito" after the name of my father's 1966 Chevelle, his former racing muscle car. Upon seeing it, he immediately asked me to baptize it as such. This was completely drawn at work on a scratch piece of paper with a black ink pen. I then scanned it and colored it on photoshop.
