"Submerged in Regurgitation"

It was two reoccurring dreams that where the main impact behind this piece.

The first one, I find myself drowning in the middle of the ocean, too submerged to swim to the top, and barely any breath to withstand this panicking undertaking. The moment I find that I can’t take it any more I take a huge gulp of water as if having no choice but to fill my water allergic delicate lungs with the oceanic liquid. To my surprise I don’t drown. In fact, the irony is that I find peace in knowing I can actually breathe underwater as a fish would.

The second nightmare takes place on the Nvo. Laredo Mexico / Laredo TX Bridge. I’m trying to cross the bridge on foot but the Rio Grande has completely flooded the entire bridge with its contaminated contents. The pedestrians as well as I don’t want to even come close to contacting the polluted substance so we all run for the border forcing ourselves to the American Side, crushing innocent bystanders which find themselves in the way of safety.

This is my attempt to bring these shocking situations together and sharing this fear with the viewer.
