I'm from the North of England where I've lived all my life, and I've always had an interest in art, though it was only in 2004 when I began to seriously draw. What I draw is entirely self-taught, and I usually get all my ideas from random thoughts that pop into my head. I'm inspired by fantasy, myths, Japanese manga/anime, and Japanese/Eastern culture in general. I have taken a GCSE in Art and a GCSE in Design Graphics; I found that the Art course was entirely irrelevant to the subject matter I draw these days (we pretty much drew flowers and armour patterns for the entire 2 years, neither of which interest me), but during my Design Graphics course I wrote and illustrated a fairy-tale storybook which I had a lot of fun with because I could draw illustrations in my own style. :) So that's my artistic background.
